Sage Baker
Sage Baker's strategic project management is, in a word, stellar. For over a decade, she has been translating consumer insights into action. Her relentless desire to “get it right” means there is no challenge she can’t overcome, whether it is diving into secondary analysis or managing a diverse and unwieldy project.
Her passion for creative ideas and working with creative people propelled her into a career in advertising. From 1997 to 2007 Sage worked at GSD&M’s Idea City. As a Strategic Brand Planner and Manager of Secondary Research she worked on nationally-known brands including Southwest Airlines, Wal-Mart, SBC/AT&T, AARP, Land Rover, Chili’s, and BMW. While there, Sage also developed and managed the agency’s first internal secondary research group, IDEAIntel, specializing in applying consumer trends, competitive analysis and other resources to support business, marketing and advertising solutions for agency clients. Since leaving GSD&M’s Idea City she has provided strategic project management to projects for United Healthcare, 3M, RBC/Dain Rauscher, Ameriprise, Scion and Starbucks among others. Her experience across varied consumer categories has provided a solid foundation and expertise in recruiting and speaking with many types of consumers—from those who play Dungeons and Dragons to even more exclusive audiences like high net worth individuals.
